Medical Services and Doping Control

The Grand Hôtel du Golf et Palace , where the WUC Golf 2014 participants will be staying, houses the Swiss Health Centre headed by Dr. Christian Schroeder. The website contains a detailed list of the healthcare services provided by the Centre. However, the costs of such services are entirely borne by the persons requiring them.

The Organising Committee has no other obligations than those mentioned in Newsletter no. 1, i.e.:

"The Organising Committee provides emergency care for all WUC Golf 2014 participants. However, the latter should be insured against any illness, accident, and hospitalisation that may occur while they are away from their home country. If they are not properly covered, the Organising Committee has arranged to make temporary insurance available to them from “Européenne Assurances”( ). Please note that the Organising Committee accepts no liability other than that which may arise under applicable FISU (International University Sports Federation) regulations."

Moreover, participants are reminded that the Anti-Doping Regulations drawn up by FISU are applicable to all World Championships. As a result, all athletes and support staff taking part in the Crans-Montana event are subject to said Regulations. For convenience purposes, the WUC Golf 2014 Doping Control Station will be set up at the Grand Hôtel du Golf et Palace , in the Swiss Health Centre premises.
